ABOUT US

Two friends.One table.

The story behind Tied with a Bow.

OUR STORY

How we came to set the table.

Long before Tied with a Bow had a name, it was just two friends who loved having people over. Esther and Sara have been planning, cooking, and setting tables together for more than ten years — first for family, then for neighbors, then for hosts across New Jersey who kept asking how we might do the same for them.

What we learned, over all those evenings, is that hosting is a small kind of generosity — and that the busiest, most loving hosts often don't get to enjoy the very evenings they create. Tied with a Bow exists to change that. We handle the menu, the tablescape, the setup, the cooking, the cleanup — strictly kosher, entirely thought-through — so you can sit down among your own guests and simply be there.

MEET THE DUO

The pair behind every place setting.

Co-founder

One half of Tied with a Bow. Ten years of tablescapes, menus, and evenings — always in service of the host getting to be one, too.

The other half of the duo. Warm, calm, and unflappable in a kitchen at 6pm — which is exactly what an evening needs.

WHY WE DO IT

The best compliment a host can pay us.

It arrives, always, in the same shape. A message the next morning. A note that says:

I actually got to enjoy my own event.

We built Tied with a Bow around that sentence. It's still the reason we come back to work.

PLAN AN EVENING

We'd love to hear what you're planning.

From an intimate anniversary dinner to a themed holiday gathering — every conversation starts the same way.
